Speaking from experience, Direction boards.

Before we designed the direction boards we wanted to come up with a strong slogan for our booklet, we wanted something to speak to the viewer that would also fit into our concept of using the facilities that are available to them- we want them to 'make the most of it'.
However, before we came to this conclusion, we went through other avenues, for example, we felt that personification had potential- taking the idea of the booklet 'speaking' to the viewer quite literally.  'Use me!'.  The use of personification and an exclamation mark are forceful, which gains attention- fulfilling one aspect.  However, the directness of all the personified phrases wasn't exactly intelligent or inventive enough.
In the end we went for 'Make the most of it'.  The phrase rolls off the tongue because of the alliteration used, making it memorable.  Also, we felt that this was the most appropriate option because we weren't literally telling the viewer to 'go and screen print', but giving them a light push to make the most of what's on offer at the college.
