Working from the '3 p's' concept to brand our whole project, here is what we came up with on Illustrator:
Initially, Sadie designed this resolution using the Bauhaus font and three letter p's. She created different versions and placed them all together in a working composition.
Below are the designs I have come up with from the existing design:
With regards to the images including text, I felt that a lighter pattern with text overlaying would look visually consistent and interesting. These designs are intended for letterpress and woodblock.
Logo:
adapted from Sadies' design we've decided to use the three p's rule still. generally with the bauhaus p's. I've messed around with leading, type and framing. With a logo it needs to be seen more as an image rather than text- an image is much more easy to remember than a block of type. It is identifiable.
We both agreed on the final image as it is more like a recognisable shape that means something.
