Problem:

People are unaware of the extent that they are being watched through CCTV within Leeds.

Evidence:

The research we have collected shows that there are a lot of cameras within Leeds that people were not aware of.

We intend to:

We intend to make people aware of the extent that they are being watched by highlighting CCTV in general within the streets of Leeds, and also the amount of CCTV.

One of our initial ideas was to create a poster that would sit on the pavement and encourage people to look up and wake up to CCTV around them.  The poster would be underneath the cameras to make it obvious what they were there for.

Legal issues:
Making this brief live would be impossible because it is classed as 'littering' to put something on the floor.
We thought about chalk but that would not keep consistency within our design and would be more about the concept.
It would be possible to place it there late at night and just take images, but this would not make it live and therefore pointless.
